This award recognizes the volunteer who is a “foot soldier" for the organization and exemplifies the heart of CCNN's mission which is "to enhance the quality of life for the members of our community through Neighbors helping Neighbors". Without the dedicated and selfless contributions of its volunteers, CCNN would not be able to accomplish the many tasks that are required to carry out its mission.

The 2016 Founders Award recipient was Sandy Lynch.

“No one is useless in this world who lightens the burden of another.”

Charles Dickens
